Last Saturday afternoon we had the first snow of the year; it was just a light snowfall, but enough to make the town even prettier than usual.
On Sunday morning P and I went for a walk and I took a few pictures.

There was a heavy mist, and it created magical views….

Although this is the first snowfall in Chipping Norton, I’d already enjoyed a bit of snow in December, in the Forest of Dean.
We stayed in a log cabin for a week, and the last day we woke up to this enchanting view:

I even managed to take a few decent shots of one of the many squirrels that greeted us every morning at breakfast time.
They knocked at our window every day, looking for food; we gave them almonds, pecan nuts and some dried bananas – which they loved!

Cute, aren’t they?
Well, I hope you enjoyed these photos…Have a nice weekend!

Lovely photos which all have a sense of calmess. I grew up in the UK, went to Boarding to Market Drayton, Shropshire and some of these photos remind me of my time there.
Thank you Jane, I’m glad you enjoyed my photos and that they they stirred memories of your childhood
Cristina,
I love your photographs. Were any of them taken at Oxford? I adore the history and old buildings~! Thank you so much for sharing this. What a treat!
Thank you Angela, I’m glad you liked my photos
None of them were taken in Oxford, only in Chipping Norton where I live, and in the forest of Dean…but I plan to go to Oxford soon – when it’s not as cold though!
A few moments of beauty can have such a positive influence on my whole day. Thank you for the few moments.
You’re welcome Charlotte
