Amara penthouse in Camps Bay

by Cristina Colli

Do you remember this post I wrote some time ago about the Amara House?  Well, the lovely Margot from Amara sent me a few photos of their new penthouse in Camps Bay, so today we’re taking a peak into this stunning villa in sunny South Africa.

The exterior shows great architecture; the graceful timber features add warmth and texture to the white façade, and emphasise shapes and forms.

I love the huge windows of the new penthouse – just look at those beautiful views…

An unusual view of  the lounge from the fish tank – it would be nice to curl up in the Bubble chair with a good book, or just to unwind and enjoy the scenery…

I love the contemporary white seamless kitchen – just what I’d like for my own house! Some day…

And what’s not to like about this bathroom?  My favourite details are the large shower enclosure, and the blue mosaic tiled walls.

Last but not least: the Amara penthouse includes even a sauna! Just in case one stumbles into a rainy day…or is simply in need of some pampering.

Well, I certainly wouldn’t mind spending some time in the Amara penthouse :) What about you?

Great house, great place. But to me the interior affects a little bit too cold! :)

Well, if this were my house, I would probably warm it up with some colour, art & accessories…but I like the design all the same.

I love it, now I am dreaming of a new place with windows and views like those.

Thank you x
