Today, I want to share a few pictures of Christmas decorations that I like. Let’s start with some bare branches decorated with ornaments – perfect for a minimalist, poetic look.

Then some beautiful baubles hung in front of the window, a lovely table laid out for breakfast (or tea) and a dreamy heart-shaped wreath that I simply adore.

Finally, a peak at my Christmas decorations! I, too, went for a minimalist tree – willow branches with fairy lights and some red ornaments, plus two intruders – a glass angel and a red & white bell!

On the mantlepiece, a simple bunch of red berries and asparagus leaves spray-painted in white.

I bought some hyacinths too – a must for Christmas in my home – but they’re not in bloom yet, so I’ll post pictures of them later in the week.
How have you decorated your house? Did you go for a real Christmas tree, or for bare branches like I did? I’m curious…

Bare branches here. Just some white lights on the olive trees, and branches of juniper and hibiscus together with strung ornaments hanging from our brick ceilings. Love this post – it has some wonderful ideas
I love white lights on olive trees, so simple and sweet. Your decorations sound like my cup of tea
These are so beautiful, thank you! This reminds me of a post I saw by Katie Tallo somewhere (she guests so much, not sure if it was on her blog or not) where she suggested using natural items as package decorations too. Just love the feel of all this. Thanks for sharing and I will too. I’ve already tweeted it. Merry Christmas!
I like natural items for package decorations too – like leaves, twigs, berries, acorns, shells…they give a special touch to any gift. Thanks for your comment and tweet and Merry Christmas to you too!!
