If you’ve been reading this blog, maybe you guessed that I love flowers. Flowers and plants are a way to bring nature inside our houses; they add colour and brighten up any interior, and they have the power to make me feel better. I usually choose scented flowers: peonies, roses and hyacinths are my favourite, and also tulips – their elegant, delicate beauty makes up for their lack of scent.
Loving flowers so much, I am very attracted to vases too, especially those ones that look good on their own. So here are some vases I like:
Cirrus, designed by Pia Törnell, is almost a sculpture. I love the game of light and shadow, and the feminine, curvy “wings” projecting outwards.
Savoy, by Alvar Aalto, is an icon of Scandinavian glass design. Designed in 1936, this vase has a unique, organic shape that still looks modern and fresh.
Four, designed by Matti Klenell, consists of a transparent cylinder containing a sphere with four apertures of different diameter, so this vase is actually four different vases in one. The innovative design is enhanced by the layered structure and the subtle light reflection.
Kontur, designed by Mette Kargo Hvid, is a cute little vase made of silicon; it can be used for flowers, pens or as a container for various small things.
Last but not least, Surface, by Achim Haigis for Rosentahl – a very original porcelain vase that reminds me of the oriental tradition of origami.

Most people admire beauty of flowers and the magic of flowers increases manifolds when they are placed in beautiful vases. Attractive vases never fail to bring elegance and style to any decor. These decorative vases carry a lot of enigmatic grace that adds more style to your surroundings.
The designs in your collection is all adorable but what I liked the most is the
Kontur, designed by Mette Kargo Hvid, it is a very cute little vase. These vases leave a long lasting impression on every one.
