Nothing warms the soul more than homemade food gifts. Every time I receive one, I feel touched.
Don’t you?
Just think of all the time, attention and care that goes into a homemade gift: from choosing the right treat, to making it, and finally packing it, trying to delight both eyes and taste buds…
Priceless.
When it’s time to think of presents I often turn to food, and sweet treats in particular, as a way to show my family and friends how special they are.
If you like baking and are thinking of making something special for the coming holidays – Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah – you’ll certainly enjoy “Sweet Delights”, a collection of 21 reliable recipes that I’m happy to share with you.
I’m a passionate baker and I love experimenting. Over the years I’ve tried lots of recipes, discarding some, tweaking others, and learning along the way. I’ve made these 21 delicious treats many, many times, and I can assure you that they always turn out well, and my friends and family are always happy to eat them.
Some of the treats are quick and extremely easy to make, while some may require a bit more effort and patience, but they’re all mouthwatering. Just follow the instructions and you, too, can make yummy sweet treats to give as gifts…or to pamper yourself!
Ranging from decadent and luscious to simple and (almost!) healthy, the recipes are quite varied, and will satisfy lots of different tastes: rich brownies for the chocolate lover, rose shortbreads for the sophisticated type, green tea shortbreads for the novelty-seeker…and many more.
So what are you waiting for?

Cristina,
I love sweet things, but they don’t love me and my waistline! I do love reading recipes though! Thanks so much for the beautiful ebook.
Oh Angela, sweet things don’t love me either! I need to eat them in moderation…but I love baking them too much
There are a few wheat-free recipes too, maybe you’ll enjoy them.
