My style in one picture

by Cristina Colli

Choose one picture that represents your design style – that’s the challenge issued by Ally of From the Right Bank.  This is easier said than done…maybe because I’m a perfectionist, maybe because my style is hard to define, or maybe because I like too many things,  fact is I had a hard time selecting just one picture… But since I have to…here’s my choice.

This is what I love of the interior:   warm, dark timber floor combined with white walls; cool, contemporary  furniture mixed with a quirky, antique dresser;  splashes of vibrant colour; huge windows; intriguing wall art. This is an airy, spacious room that’s uncluttered yet cosy, bold yet soothing.  Add a fireplace, a sizable amount of books,  and substitute rooftops  with trees, plants and flowers, and you have my idea of bliss.

For a healthy dose of inspiration, make sure to browse all the beautiful, diverse pictures that were entered in  Ally’s post for this challenge; you can still enter your picture, too – it’s easy and fun!

My jaw hit the ground when I first saw this room! Oh my goodness, look at those windows and that view! The color scheme is so fun and that purple commode is really beautiful too. Thanks so much for participating in the challenge. Have a great weekend!
