Natural beauty & lovely mirrors

by Cristina Colli

Hello my friends, how was your week? Mine was pretty busy, but I managed to take a  few pictures for your inspiration:

Anemones, buttercups, freesias, hyacinths… shades of pink , purple and magenta mixed with cream and greens – a gorgeous palette of spring flowers.

Sleeping beauty….

Cat’s eyes & a silvery paw.

A stunning sunset.

And finally, some man-made beauty! On Saturday I led a mosaic workshop at The Fibreworks and four lovely ladies made a mosaic mirror using glass, beads, marble, pearls, ceramic and millefiori.

Although they had the same materials to choose from, they all created something different, unique and special. I loved seeing their creativity at play, and wanted to share their beautiful work with you.

Gorgeous work, don’t you think?

Beautiful flowers! I would love to have a go at a mosaic- yet another thing to add to the to-do list!!

I know, there never seems to be enough time in my day either…too many interesting things I’d love to try!

What a lovely week you had, and those flower photos are stunning! They make me really want to go looking for branches of catkins, although spring is still a little far away here in Noway.

Today it looks like spring here, but I think winter is not over at all…Thanks for your kind words Halina :)
