Tea time beauties

I am a tea-lover. In the morning, my breakfast starts with a cup of Assam black tea – no sugar, no milk; during the day I go through several cups of tea, either green, herbal, oolong or white.

Whenever I need a break, I put the kettle on and reach for the teapot; the moment I start the comforting ritual of brewing a cuppa, my mind immediately starts to slow down and relax.

I like to drink my tea in a pretty cup; it is a small gesture that instantly lifts my mood and makes me feel precious.

Recently I stumbled upon some extremely pretty cups, and it was love at first sight…

Hanami by Christofle – Hanami shares its name with the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying flowers – especially cherry blossoms or ume blossoms.  I love the detail of the small insects, different in each plate/cup.

My China! Emperor’s Garden by Sieger – Minimalist shapes & China-inspired décor, just lovely. The teapot is delightful, too!

Ciel Bleu by Sieger -  Limited edition, clearly inspired by Magritte blue skies; the precious gold accents are just perfect.
